How our service works

Last updated October 29, 2026

North Dallas AC Repair is a referral service. We are not an HVAC contractor, and we don't repair, install or service heating and air conditioning systems.

What we do

We run this website and phone line so homeowners can ask for HVAC help.
When you call or send a request, we pass it to one independent HVAC contractor who covers your ZIP code.
That contractor calls you back to schedule a visit.

What the contractor does

Diagnoses the problem and quotes you a price.
Performs all the work under their own Texas license and insurance.
Pulls any required permits and provides any warranty.
Bills you directly. You pay the contractor, not us.

What we don't do

We don't set prices, send technicians, or guarantee the work.
We don't employ the contractors. They are independent businesses.
We don't charge you anything. Contractors pay us a fee for referrals.

Who we work with

Every contractor we refer to holds an active Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License, which we verify with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation before working with them. You can check any license yourself at tdlr.texas.gov.

Questions or problems with work

Questions about a quote, a repair or a warranty go to the contractor who did the work. If you have a complaint about a licensed contractor, you can file it with TDLR at www.tdlr.texas.gov or 1-800-803-9202.

Regulatory notice

Air conditioning and refrigeration contractors are regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, P.O. Box 12157, Austin, TX 78711, 1-800-803-9202, 512-463-6599.
